This Kelford Cams range of street and race track proven camshafts are for the 1JZ-GTE NON-VVTI Engine. 

This range of cams give our customers the benefits of increasing power and extending the life of parts.

Our catalogue offering cater for a range of applications, including our ultimate drift specification which features low seat to seat duration for fast spool and lots of top end power.

However, if you can't find your perfect camshaft within our catalogue, designing custom profiles is our specialty, or we can manufacture a cam to your specifications.

 

Camshaft Profiles

229-A:

  • 248°/248° | 8.70mm/8.70mm
  • This camshaft is perfect for a near stock 1JZ-GTE Non VVTi engine! It provides improved low to mid-range power, fast spool, and excellent throttle response, making it ideal for street cars. It is compatible with both stock twin turbo and single 54mm-58mm turbo upgrades. You can use OEM valve spring for the stock boost and rpm limit. However, if you want to go up to 7500rpm and 30psi boost, Kelford Cams recommends using valve spring KVS109-1JZ.

229-B

  • 260°/260° | 9.35mm/9.35mm 
  • Toyota 1JZ 260° street performance cams are designed to enhance low to mid-range power. Get quick spool and impressive throttle response. They are perfectly suitable for twin turbo or single turbo 54-64mm upgrades.

    Compatible with OEM valve springs up to the stock boost and rpm limit. However, if you’re going to push your vehicle to up to 7500rpm and 30psi boost levels, we recommend using valve spring KVS109-1JZ.

229-C:

  • 264°/272° | 9.65mm/9.65mm 
  • Kelford Cams offer high-performance camshafts for your 1JZ engine. 229-C camshaft set is great for street, strip, and track enthusiasts and provide mid-range power and throttle response. A reliable cam choice to pair with a 60mm-70mm single turbo, and have a threshold of up to 8000rpm and 30psi boost. To achieve the best results with our camshafts, we recommend using Kelford Cams’ KVS109-1JZ valve spring kit.

229-D:

  • 272°/278° | 9.95mm/9.95mm

It is a product with a proven track record in motorsports. With optimized performance, it delivers more top-end power and maximum output than any comparable 229-C cams. A powerhouse camshaft that suits using single 64mm-76mm turbo. Greta with E85 Fuel.

    For optimum results, Kelford Cams recommends pairing it with the KVS109-1JZ valve springs

229-E:

  • 290°/290° | 10.60mm/10.20mm 
  • Our Drag Racing Cams are specifically designed for optimizing power at high RPM and wide-open throttle. These are perfect for your 1JZ-GTE non-VVTI engine with a 72mm+ turbocharger running on alcohol-based fuels. To ensure valvetrain stability, our cams can work with stock buckets. Please note, you may need to have the cylinder head machined for clearance of high lift cam lobes.

    For optimal results, we suggest pairing these cams with our KVS109-1JZ-T valve spring.

229-F:

  • 282°/286° | 11.00mm/11.00mm
  • Upgrade your 1JZ-GTE engine with high lift racing camshafts from Kelford Cams. Designed for optimal performance and compatibility with alcohol-based fuel. Perfect for engines with  72mm+ turbocharger installed.

    Designed with high velocity and may require a shimless bucket or shim-under bucket conversion. Kelford Cams DLC coated followers KCF-229. To ensure optimal performance we recommends using valve spring KVS109-1JZ-T.

    High lift cam lobes may require the cylinder head to be machined for clearance.

229-G:

  • 292°/302° | 10.80mm/10.80mm
  • Drag Racing Cams for wide open throttle and high rpm power. 1JZ-GTE non VVTI engine running 72mm+ turbocharger. Ideal for alcohol based fuels. Designed to keep the valvetrain stable even on stock buckets. Cylinder head may require machining for clearance of high lift cam lobes.
