RETURNS
(Returning an item after dispatch – non warranty)
This section is for returning a product AFTER DISPATCH due to:
Change of mind
Incorrect part ordered
Incorrect fitment
Any reason not for warranty.
Customers have 7 days inclusive from the day they receive their order to lodge a return with ModsDirect Australia. If the return form is approved (notification by email) the item must then be returned within 21 days.
All returns will incur a fee of 15%. ModsDirect Australia incurs expenses relating to order handling and processing regardless if the order is completed or returned.
Please note that exchanges, refunds or credits will NOT be processed until the returned product(s) is received by ModsDirect Australia.
All returns must be returned to ModsDirect Australia by courier or post at the cost of the customer. All returns must be trackable. A courier pickup can be arranged by ModsDirect Australia for convenience of the customer, but the costs of this service will be forwarded to the customer.
ModsDirect Australia will only cover return fees in the event a warehousing error has resulted in the incorrect product being dispatched.
Once a product has been installed, used or fitted it is no longer returnable.
All packing materials must be in resalable condition for a return. Some minor damages such as a neat cut of a package seal may still be eligible for return. Please include a photo with your return request.
Special order items (non-catalogued) will not be accepted for return after dispatch.
BACKORDERS AND BACKORDER CANCELLATIONS
(Cancelling an order during an established backorder, but BEFORE dispatch)
ModsDirect Australia will regularly maintain its catalogue and product inventory status. From time to time it may occur that the product may run out of stock and an order placed prior to the website reflecting this new status. If this occurs, ModsDirect Australia will contact the customer at the first opportunity to notify of the estimated arrival date. A refund (without penalty to the customer) may be offered or alternate item offered (with adjustments for pricing).
If the customer has been notified of backorder status through any form of communication, through a product notice (typically beside the “add to cart” button) or through a backorder product status the customer will forfeit 10% of the order total in the event of a requested order cancellation.
Further, when a brand is experiencing delays on SOME products but not all, a product notice will be made on every listing relating to the brand in question. It may read something similar to "(brand) is experiencing delays in excess of (number of weeks) on some items. Contact us prior to order if you need this item immediately". Notice is considered to have been given, and the aforementioned 10% cancellation fee applies.

SPECIAL ORDER CANCELLATIONS
(Cancelling a special ordered product BEFORE dispatch)
For special order/non catalogued item cancellations, a 50% fee will be forfeited.
Special order items will not be accepted for return AFTER dispatch.
For turbocharger kits and custom fabricated items, orders are committed 100% at time of order and non-refundable.
CHANGE OF MIND ORDER CANCELLATIONS
(Cancelling after order placement but before dispatch)
If a payment is successfully processed but a request to cancel subsequently takes place, the customer will forfeit 10% of the order total. ModsDirect Australia incurs expenses relating to order handling and processing regardless if the order is completed or returned.

All refunds will be sent back using the original payment method. Alternate bank accounts or arrangements will be ignored.
