Designed for cars running mid 7 to low 8-second quarter-mile passes, these cams deliver exceptional midrange torque and hold strong power all the way to 9200 RPM. Optimized for drag racing applications, Stage 2 cams are designed to fully utilize the variable cam timing system, offering precise control and a broader tuning window. These camshafts must be paired with aftermarket pistons featuring deep valve relief pockets to ensure proper clearance at high RPM and boost levels. A valve spring upgrade is required, and Kelford recommends the KVS257 spring kit for reliable valve control under extreme performance demands.
