SO - Slip-On
Built from high-grade lightweight titanium – with some parts cast in Akrapovic’s own foundry – this system will reduce exhaust system's weight. Developed to deliver both power and torque gains throughout the range with most gain in lower rpm will improve responsiveness and drivability. The system delivers distinctly different sound from the stock system, most noticeable at shifting, backfiring and accelerating.
The carbon-fibre tailpipes have been perfectly crafted and designed to fit beautifully within the optional carbon-fibre diffuser. Optional carbon-fibre mirror caps are also available to further enhance the car's appearance.The system is a simple plug-and-play operation to fit, and has been designed to meet ECE type approval.
The optional Akrapovic Sound Kit is also available.For installing the slip-on system, the stock exhaust system has to be cut. Please read the instructions carefully before the start of the installation.
This product fits also on BMW M5 Competition and CS 2022 models equipped with OPF/GPF.

Bigger tubes deliver optimised gas flow, and the use of ultra-lightweight materials will significantly reduce the vehicle’s weight and enhance its handling. A distinctive coating offers an enhanced appearance, and the parts most exposed to heat feature special insulation for protection. With two flawlessly styled and finished handmade carbon-fibre tailpipes, which beautifully complement the titanium pipes, this exhaust is a work of art.
It comes complete with a soundtrack that perfectly matches the car’s performance, ideally tuned to produce a unique sound colour and the celebrated Akrapovic signature sound.

The Evolution link pipe set upgrades the Slip-On system to the Evolution system and is constructed from high-quality lightweight titanium. It is designed to increase power and torque and drastically reduce the backpressure.
The system has been perfectly tuned to deliver the very best sound experience in all modes – enormous effort was invested to give it a sporty, deep higher-frequency V8 sound with an unmistakable Akrapovic character, while keeping it smooth and eliminating any drone for maximum everyday comfort.
When installing the Akrapovic Evolution link pipe set, remapping the ECU is mandatory in order to prevent potential “check engine light” warning signals.

Sporting the unique Akrapovic round design, the carbon- version has sandblasted titanium inner parts with a bigger diameter than stock tailpipes to make them stand out from the crowd even more.
The new model was unveiled with distinctive Akrapovic design elements, and these beautifully crafted additions are designed to fit perfectly with the carbon- diffuser.

Can I return a product after install?
Once a product has been installed, used or fitted it is no longer returnable.
How long do I have to return a product?
Customers have 7 days inclusive from the day they receive their order to lodge a “Return Request” with ModsDirect. If the return form is approved (notification by email) the item must then be returned within 21 days. All returns must be trackable.
Please note that exchanges, refunds or credits will NOT be processed until the returned product(s) is received by ModsDirect.
Where do items need to be returned to?
After submitting a “Return Request” form, ModsDirect will be in touch via email to confirm details for return.
How do I return items?
All returns must be returned to ModsDirect by courier or post. All returns must be trackable. In some instances, ModsDirect may offer a return label.
What about restocking fees?
All returns will incur a fee of 15%. This is to cover fees incurred by ModsDirect for payment processing and handling. We are at the mercy of paying for services used at our website regardless of whether the order remains completed or reversed.
Who pays for return shipping?
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. However, if a customer has received the incorrect product, ModsDirect will cover return fees and provide a courier pickup at no cost to the customer.
Exchange, Credit or Refund?
If a customer requests a return, they may be eligible for either an exchange, credit or refund based on the nature of the return and product availability. If refunding, moneys will be returned to the customer via the original payment gateway used at checkout.
Can I drop a return off to ModsDirect?
Sorry, no in-store return option is presently available.
I damaged the packaging during unboxing, can I still return?
Unfortunately not. All packing materials must be in resalable condition for a return. Some minor damages such as a neat cut of a package seal may still be eligible for return. Please include a photo of the packaging with your Return Request form.
