The outer coating is determined by the assembly process: Universal DIY ends (braided PET) or preassembled crimped ends (smooth PVC). For vehicles without this SAE fitting additional parts will be required to convert the OEM hard fuel lines to AN-6 male flares. In addition, these vehicles utilise a fuel filter located in the engine bay which will not be suitable with this plumbing kit and an aftermarket filter will need to be purchased separately.
